About Us

What is School Newspaper?

Uganda’s premier student media platform, bridging communication gaps and fostering a vibrant student media culture across secondary schools nationwide.

Problem Statement

In Uganda’s education system, students annually spend 70%of their life in school with limited access to information due to limited access to information accessories like smartphones, laptops, traditional newspapers, television etc. Come holidays which accumulates to 30% of their time annually, a fierce competition for their attention is sparked again,. The limitation disproportionately affects students and organizations offering student-related goods and services, as advertising struggles to penetrate this restricted landscape.

Resolution

It features student-written articles, academic resources (e.g., UNEB questions), interviews, school events, and entertainment, aiming to bridge communication gaps and foster a vibrant student media culture. Leveraging a mix of hard-copy distribution and online accessibility, it engages students during their 70%school time and 30% holiday periods.
